In early December, ”Club des Supporters de l’equipe cycliste de La Fran軋ise des Jeux” held a charity ride outside of Paris with the team, to support a handicapped sports program in France. 休養日は家で過ごしたけど、仕事の遅れを取り戻したり、ツール・ド・フランスの用意をするのに時間が取られて、ゆっくりする暇はまったくなかった。
今日はスタートまでオートバイで2時間半走って到着。
レースは淡々と進んだが、途中で女レースディレクターの絶叫が....。
クルマが右側通行の国では、レースのときはチームカーは右、オートバイは左を走ることになっている。
ところがグアルディーニが走りながらチームカーにつかまってシューズを交換している写真を撮るために右側にオートバイの進路を変更したところ、女レースディレクターは、オートバイの運転手のハンドルさばきが急激すぎると判断。
無線機で「スナーダ！急に道路を横切るな...」
通常、フォトグラファーは番号で呼ばれるけど、このディレクターは僕をどういうわけかいつも名前で呼ぶのだ。
ラジオツール（レースの無線）の女性通訳からも、
「名指しの絶叫だったから、みんなで笑っていた」と言われたり、
「おい、またなにをやっちまったのよ」と同業者からからかわれたり。
まあ、日本を代表して、大和魂を見せつけました。
写真はグアルディーニのシューズ交換のシーン。この直後に無線機を通じて女性の叫び声が...。

本日、「ツアー・オブ・ジャパン」の第2ステージが終了しました。
増田選手は「スプリンターのための美濃ステージ」でチームメイトに守られてトップと同タイムの14位でゴール。
中村選手もまたまた長距離を逃げていくつかのプラス要素を生み出してくれました。
さて、そんなチームとして順調に進んでいる同レースですが、本日、私が100スイスフランの罰金を受けてしまいました(T_T)
理由は、「レース中の車両の動きに関する規則に違反したので罰金を科す」という内容。
詳しく書くと、メイン集団を追い越して先頭グループに上がる際、チーフコミッセールさんのお許しを得なければならないのですが、チーフコミッセールカーの手前を走っていたモトコミッセールさんの「行って、行って〓」のゼスチャーにその気になってしまい、チーフコミッセールさんに挨拶するのを忘れてしまったというミス…
明日以降はしっかりとチーフのお許しを得てから前に上がるようにいたします。
ということで、宇都宮で待っている柿沼コーチ、ごめんなさい。

これ以上、増えないように気をつけます
明日は難易度の高い南信州ステージ、引き続きがんばります。

I’m definitely going to get one of these! This is one of my fondest memories as a kid. If you need an excuse to go to a Braves game, this is a good one.

This was a fun little project. We changed out to Wald tourist bars, Dia-Compe inverse levers, and added a Brooks saddle. After running new cable/housing/chain/brake pads, and some adjusting, she rode pretty smooth. I was real stoked on the old Pletscher rear rack, those will never go out style for me.

Amgen Tour of California 2012 第一ステージ
皆さんご無沙汰です！
アルゴスシマノ土井です。
今僕はアメリカのカルフォルニア州サンタローザに来ています。
とっても良い町です。9年前にもシマノレーシングチームの新人として遠征に来たことがあるカルフォルニア。
9年ぶりに来てもその時のイメージ通り、良い町です。
人々は自転車を知っていて、ライプハイマーの生まれ故郷だとか。
そんな町に来てトレーニングしていると、ワインのブドウ畑が一面に広がり、そこら中ワイナリーだらけ。
ワインが好きな僕にとってはもう最高です。
そして、走りながらも日本チャンピオンおめでとうと声をかけてもらったり、気分はとってもハッピー。
体は時差ぼけでずたボロでしたが。笑
そういった日々を過ごしながらスタートした本日第一ステージ。
予想以上に厳しいコースでした。
オーダー的にはスプリンターの援護。
最後スプリンターを連れて行くべく登を越え、宙ぶらりんのまま後ろの集団を待って合流し、牽引開始。
20キロ近くみんなで引いて頑張ったけど、追いつくことは無かった。
結果第二集団でゴール。
今回は出場メンバーをみても総合を狙えるような面子じゃないからデイリザルトで頑張ります！明日は時差ぼけと移動疲れもとれてきて良い感じで体が動くと良いな！
明日もチーム一丸頑張ります〜！

平野郷をポタリングします。
「平野」って由緒正しい古い町なんですね。前から興味ありました。周りを堀で囲まれた環濠集落都市だったことや、岸和田のだんじりのルーツにもなったお祭り発祥の地だったこと。戦災を逃れて今でも古い町並みが素敵です。
タクリーノポタリングとしては、全興寺（縁日と仏の国や地獄絵巻を見学できる）→環濠のあったあたりを一周する（一部環濠の残っているところを見学）→南海平野駅跡（その昔市電の終着駅があった）→自転車屋さん博物館（サイクルショップタガワさん）の徘徊を予定しております。
★タクリーノポタリング平野郷 5月6日（日） 13:00タクリーノ集合 その後17:00ぐらいから打ち上げ宴会やります。

Cycling Startlists stops!
Dear visitors,
after many doubts and considerations we have decided to stop this website after the cycling season 2011.
The reasons are quite obvious: partly it is lack of time to keep the site update, but the main reason is that in the course of time the information on startlists has become better and better. Cycling Startlists started in 2003 because there was little or no information on startlists of cycling races. Since then slowly the information has improved and nowadays you can find the startlist of nearly every race somewhere. And there is Twitter and the likes where you can find much information.
So we think there is no need anymore for a site like Cycling Startlists.

あけましておめでとうございます。久しぶりの更新です。
去年はロードレースもほとんど見ていません……。いえ、その前の年からそうだったのかもしれません。
忙しいのもあるのですが、、、観戦意欲が低下しているのも事実です。相次ぐ「ド」騒ぎに完全にシラケてしまったのが主な原因だと思います。
事実として知っていてもそれを堂々と見せつけられると嫌な思いがする、ということが世の中にはありますよね。まさにそんな感じです。昔に比べて堂々と口に出せるようになっただけずっとましだとは思いますが、、、でも一ファンとして正直に言えば私にはそれがいささか苦痛なことでもあります。
さらにこれだけアンチドーピングが叫ばれていても使用者が後を絶たないという現実。恥知らずな言い訳を平気な顔でする選手たち。（ドーピングって心までも汚染してしまうんでしょうかね？）
そんな光景をしばらく見ているうちに……なんだかうんざりして楽しくなくなってしまったのです。ヘタレですね。すみません。
今後は自転車に関しては乗って楽しむという関わり方が一番多くなると思います。
そんな理由と、さらに忙しさが今後も続くであろうことを考えると、多分これからも更新はほとんどできないと思います。なので、思い切ってこのBlogを閉鎖しようかなと考えております。

Die Deutschland Tour 2008 war die vorerst letzte Austragung dieses UCI-ProTour-Rennens. Eine Fortführung der neuntägigen Landesrundfahrt wird es im kommenden Jahr nicht mehr geben.
Der Gesamtsieger der Deutschland Tour 2008 heißt Linus Gerdemann. Dem Münsteraner vom Team Columbia reichte im abschließenden Einzelzeitfahren der Deutschland Tour in Bremen Tagesrang vier, um sich die Gesamtwertung und damit das Gelbe Trikot zu sichern. Den Tagessieg in Bremen fuhr der Cottbuser Tony Martin (Columbia) ein.

We would like to introduce you to a minority group that doesn’t have an easy time of it in our society: pro cyclists.They have to continually shave their legs and let themselves be rubbed with massage oil. And if that’s not bad enough, there are hundreds -- no, thousands -- of cycling fans, who lie in wait for them, tear them away from their bikes with no regard for life and limb, and want only one thing from these men: photos.
As it happens, we belong to this single-minded group of hobby photographers. The results of our forays in to the wierd and wonderful world of pro cycling are here for the whole world to see and admire....
