労働者社会主義同盟は、日本革命の勝利のために闘う共産主義者の自主的・自覚的な政治組織である。
日本革命のもっとも基本的な任務は、日本独占資本家階級の支配を打倒し、日米安保条約破棄、米軍基地撤去など、アメリカ帝国主義による日本の国家主権侵害を排除して、人民の民主的権力を樹立し、社会主義革命をなし遂げることである。
私たちは、労働者階級を主力とし、農漁民・都市自営業者・進歩的知識人などとの同盟を基礎とする最も広範な統一戦線を結成して、革命の主体を形成し、ブルジョア階級独裁の根幹である暴力装置と官僚機構を麻痺させ、打ち砕き、外国帝国主義の不当な干渉を排除しつつ、人民権力を樹立するために闘う。
この革命の勝利によって、日本における社会主義の実現への新しい過程が始まる。民主主義の徹底こそが人民の闘争の前進の保証であり、この人民の立場にたつ民主主義なくしては革命は勝利できず、社会主義に転化することはできない。またこの革命の過程は、私たちをも含む民衆の革命主体としての自己の変革と確立であり、それは長期にわたる不断の革命である。

日本労働者党と建党同盟の統合にあたって
一
私たち日本労働者党と建党同盟は、共産主義への熱い想いを共有し、日本における社会主義運動の再生・強化と、新しい未来を切りひらく事業を勤労人民とともに進める決意をもって、いまここに両者の組織を統合することを決定した。新しい組織の名称は「労働者社会主義同盟」である。
この両者の組織の統合は、めざすべき共産主義者の統一と革命党建設への新たな出発、あるいはその一つの結節点である。社会主義に未来があるとすれば、ここにいう「私たち」はより多くの「私たち」に転化する可能性、いや必然性をもつだろう。またそれぞれの出自と歴史的経過、組織の大小や活動の後先などさまざまな違いを越え、小異を残して大同につく精神で誠実に努力されるべき統一の事業の強化は、お互いの願いであるとともに、時代の要請である。私たちは今回の両者の組織的統一を通じて、社会を変革する共産主義者の強大な党をつくるためいっそう奮闘するものであることを表明するとともに、この決断がさらに多くの、こころざしを同じくする全国各地の共産主義者の協同と統一の事業の発展に役立つことをこころから期待す
