2024年12月18日12:32本大乗仏教は｢啓蒙思想｣を超える私の年になると､最大の関心事は死である｡どう老いてどう死ぬか｡その準備を毎日考えている｡仏教が日本で広く普及している（信じられているわけではない）のは､この問題に一応の答を出しているからだろう｡それは人生は無意味な｢空｣なので､生も死も大した問題ではないという死生観である｡これをﾌﾞｯﾀﾞは縁起と呼んだ｡私が死ぬ原因は私が生きているからだ､というのが西洋的な因果関係だが､ﾌﾞｯﾀﾞはこれを否定する｡私が死ぬという出来事は､私が生きていなければありえないので､死は私の生の条件である｡人生はこのような無数の縁起（関係ﾈｯﾄﾜｰｸ）の一つの結節点であり､そこには世界も自己も実在しない｡大乗仏教はこれを論理的につきつめ､龍樹はほとんどｳｨﾄｹﾞﾝｼｭﾀｲﾝの言語ｹﾞｰﾑと同じ理論を展開した｡これを著者は｢啓蒙思想｣だというが､それは逆
