･中国で､恐竜の足跡の化石が発見されて､
それに｢ｴｳﾌﾟﾛﾝﾃｽ･ﾉﾋﾞﾀｲ｣と名前が付けられた｡
これは｢ﾄﾞﾗえもん｣ののび太くんにちなんだ名だという｡
だれもが知っているとおり､ﾄﾞﾗえもんも､のび太くんも､
創作上の登場人物とﾛﾎﾞｯﾄで､現実にいるわけじゃない｡
だけど､そういえば､発見された恐竜についても､そうだ｡
見つけられたのは恐竜の骨や歯ではなく｢足跡｣なのだ｡
恐竜が歩いた足の跡なのであって､やつは､そこにいない｡
のび太くんは､現実にはいない人なのだけれど､
中国の研究者のこころのなかに生きていて､
1億2000万年も昔にいた恐竜の名前になった｡
そして､当の｢ﾉﾋﾞﾀｲ｣と名付けられた恐竜も､
まだ詳しいことはわかっていないままに､
人びとのこころのなかで姿かたちを得て､ｲﾒｰｼﾞを残す｡
どちらも｢本体｣はないままに､そこにいるということだ｡
そして､それはそれで生きている､
